Cesar Valera

Cesar Valera is a former professional triathlete with 25 years of experience in the sport. He has raced triathlons throughout the world, including multiple times at the iconic Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.
Cesar has coached beginner to elite level triathletes since 2007. He got his start in the fitness industry in the early 2000s when he became one of the first Master Instructors for the original Spinning® indoor cycling program in his home country of Venezuela. This experience led to Cesar traveling, teaching and certifying Spinning® instructors throughout Latin America. He is still involved with Spinning® as a Senior Master Instructor and Advisor for the new SPINPower® program.
Cesar continues to be an active competitor in triathlon and cycling events. He competed in the 2022 edition of the cycling race Race Across America. He led his team out of Oceanside, California and arrived 7 days later in Annapolis, Maryland. Later that year, he placed 2nd overall in the 12-hour time trial world championships in cycling.
Cesar holds a level 2 certification from USA Triathlon and US Masters Swimming, among many other fitness industry and safely certifications.
When he is not coaching, training or racing, Cesar enjoys playing tennis, traveling and playing outside with his wife and three young children.
